For years I have always desired to produce and direct my own film; however, I felt inadequate. My thoughts were plagued by the possible opinions of others; therefore, causing me to give up before I started. One day as I sat confidently with my book in my hand, I thought to myself, "Lakisha, you will only fail if you never try." And the rest was history. I took that leap called faith and did my first casting call and found the cast for No Perfect Love. Although trials came and the pandemic hit, it didn't stop me from proceeding to post production. You may say, "What's the moral of the story Lakisha?" My answer would be simple. Don't allow fear to stop the vision God has given you!
